After the last post, I got to thinking about Morgan on this trip we took. She and I rode in the back of the van. We watched movies, read books, colored and talked. She did a lot of singing. She makes up songs as she goes. It is so fun to listen to and hear her imagination going. She can sing for an hour without stopping. The words from a hundred songs end up in her 'song'. You will hear no more monkeys jumping on the bed right before she sings the chorus to jingle bells. Then she throws a bunch of three year old words in and you have no clue.
While listening to her sing, I had a thought of how much of this trip she will remember. Not much I am willing to guess. If she does remember any of it, I hope she remembers that her Grammie rode in the back with her and we had fun!! That she braided my 3 inch long hair (not) and wiped pretend marker off my face with her spit!! Just like her momma does her. That she took her socks off so she could put this finger puppet on her toes, than wanted to put the puppet on my toes too! Shoot, Grammie could not get her feet up that far! Ha ha!! I hope she remembers that every time she said "Grammie" I stopped what I was doing to listen to her. I guess, overall, I just hope she always knows how much I love her!!!
Maybe with the few pictures we took and if I keep telling her the story of the trip, she can remember some of it!!
